    Job Description

    Purpose Of Role
    To maximize the sales of Chelsea Truck Company Parts and accessories in the automotive market to distributors and retail customers, and to identify new sales opportunities.

    This position requires a candidate to be based in North America on a full time basis. You will be responsible for establishing a network of dealers to supply our Chelsea Truck Company parts and accesories as well as a network of body shop and repair centres that will be capable of fitting components to our standard and specifications. You will be required to actively promote and grow the brand across North America.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities
    • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers via meetings, telephone calls and emails
    • Responsible for policing these and ensuring that they're adhearing to our Brand Standards. 
    • Making accurate, rapid cost calculations, and providing customers with quotations
    • Acting as a contact between a company and its new/existing markets
    • Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
    • Gathering market and customer information
    • Negotiating variations in price, delivery and specifications with managers
    • Recording sales and order information and sending copies to the Sales and Marketing Manager
    • Reviewing own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets



    Desired Skills and Experience
    • Experiance working within a main dealership 
    • Related qualifications are an advantage but not essential
    • Proven sales experience
    • Excellent telephone selling skills
    • Be able to work under pressure and meet targets
    • Be able to analyse and interpret research data
    • Excellent negotiation skills and ‘can do attitude’ is essential
    • Experience in the automotive sector is desirable
    • Strong written and spoken English is essential
